From the minute we arrived, the Copper Door’s modern lodge exterior and big picture windows gave us gorgeous lines for portraits. After sunset, the textured stone and stained-glass entry glowed—perfect for a romantic night shot before the party kicked off.

Getting Ready & The Guys

Isaiah got ready on site in a crisp blue suit and champagne tie—clean, classic, and so photogenic in the Copper Door’s natural light. The groomsmen celebrated with custom maroon koozies (a fun nod to fall colors) before we headed out for portraits. One of our favorite frames? The crew hoisting Isaiah in front of the venue’s facade—pure joy, big laughs, and a great way to kick off the gallery.

Ceremony & Family Moments

Kelsey walked the aisle with her dad, bouquet full of moody blues, ivory, and dried textures—perfect for a November wedding at Copper Door. After the “I do’s,” we grabbed a few portraits at the ceremony arbor and then invited parents and grandparents in for a generational kiss photo that everyone will treasure for decades. (Bring tissues for that one.)

Golden Hour & Newlyweds

As the sun dropped, we slipped away for couples’ portraits around the main entrance and steps. The textured stone, the rich wood doors, the soft November light—it’s a dream combo for editorial-style images without leaving the property.

Outdoor Reception Under the Lights

Copper Door really shines at night. Bistro lights framed the outdoor dance floor for Isaiah & Kelsey’s first dance—wide-angle views with the venue twinkling behind them and tighter shots with cinematic color from the DJ lights. Later, we pulled everyone together for a big group photo: heart-shaped shades, friends cheering, and the kind of energy that says “best night ever.”

Ryan & Makayla chose the historic Fairmount Hotel for a day that felt timeless—warm candlelight, classic textures, and a little downtown San Antonio magic. Their details set the tone: pearl-trimmed clutch, lace heels with satin ribbons, heirloom rings, and a favorite perfume. Soft portraits in the hotel’s brick corridors gave us editorial light and a calm moment before the celebrations began.

The ceremony was intimate and elegant—gold chairs, a lush arch of red and ivory blooms, and chandeliers casting that romantic glow. After vows, we slipped away for newlywed portraits: a few on the balcony with the city as a backdrop, and a few indoors for dramatic, moody light. These frames show exactly why we love Fairmount weddings—there are beautiful options rain or shine, day or night.

Reception décor leaned into candlelight and crystal—long tables lined with glass cylinders, flickering tapers, and rich greenery. The cake kept the theme going with delicate gold leaf and roses.
